Kids with Santa

When he walked into the room, my kids were jumping all around! The told him all that they wanted! Then Santa gave them a little gift and they were on their way!! So much fun to meet the guy in red!

Florida

Since we have move to the west coast, I have not missed Florida at all!! I have missed some of the people that we met there, but other than that, I am so happy that we moved here!!

My first year in Florida was amazing, I loved seeing everything and doing everything in a NEW place! I went to the beach all the time and listen to Cuban music! I was sooo in love with Michael, and every minute he wasn't in dental school we were together!! We would try all the different foods, go to the malls, go shopping, it really seems like a whole different place in the world!!

Today as I was listing to some Cuban music, and it made me think of Florida and how amazing it was to live there, and to do something different!! I was so brave to move there, to drive clear across the states and to move somewhere where I only knew one person (for 2 months)!! I am so glad that I did, my life is the best and I wouldn't change it for the anything! Maybe one day we will go back and enjoy the beautiful Florida!!

Christmas Cards

To those who gave me their address a little late, and to those who we still love, here is our Christmas card! We still love you and we are very sorry that I wasn't able to get it to you!! (just think of it as we are saving another tree) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Waiting for christmas

I love this picture! It reminds me of when I was a kid and I loved looking at lights! I really start to feel the Christmas spirit when I see the lights all over the place! I hope my kids can feel the Christmas spirit too!!

Gingerbread House

A few days ago, we made gingerbread house!! It was sitting on the counter for about a week and the kids would ask me to do it everyday! When I finally said that we were going to do it, the kids started jumping around acting like they were crazy! We used a glue gun for the house, because we weren't going to eat it anyway! We frosted the top and put candies everywhere, and after we were done the kids just end up eating all the candies!! But we had fun anyway!!

Sledding

I took the kids up to Mount Charleston the other day! As we were driving up the canyon Andrew said to me "Mom, I can see the snowy mountains" He was so excited to go sledding! He went up and down lots of times! We are going to go again because he loved it soooo much! Lauren did it a few times, but got cold really fast! Courtney pretty much hated it, and wanted nothing to do with the snow! Oh well hopefully she will like it next year!! But we had a really good day!!

Park Day

It has been pretty cold some days, but the kids wanted to get out and do something fun! We went to the park and played, it was so much fun to see their happy faces! It amazing that my kids just love to play and run around, they are growing up so fast, and I am so lucky to be there mom!!
